Introducing ODIN Analytics

ODIN Analytics is our newest offering that enables clients to visualize data through a central platform.  Our solutions use time-series data feeds through off-the-shelf software to access real-time information.  We generate a customized view across your  datasets with a focus on operational improvements, project updates, milestone tracking, and process efficiencies through various electronic interfaces.

With a unique history including the engineering, procurement, and construction skill set, the ODIN team also delivers business consulting and electronic access to information for our client base.  Through a focus on business intelligence applications, ODIN draws on almost 30 years of utility knowledge and hundreds of years of individual experience and applies it to better business design through performance and asset presentation software.

We work with the Information Technology (IT) rules of our clients and their preferred applications including the Microsoft Power Platform (Azure, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI), Primavera P6 (P6) and others to create visualization to their assets and projects.

As part of a recent project, National Grid Holtsville KPIs, ODIN applied our consultative approach to meet our client needs with a Software-As-A-Service (SAAS) product to permit visualization and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).  Our goal is to deliver solutions for our clients that fit their infrastructure, operational, and financial parameters while delivering the performance management overview they desire.

What is in the Analytics Dashboard?

The ODIN Analytics dashboard is custom tailored to each individual client and a specific project, or projects, regardless of the breath of the data. The following are a couple of examples of integration initiatives.

Gas Asset Portal (GAP)

For one of our clients, ODIN created a Gas Asset Portal (GAP) that integrates:

• Pictures, Procedures, and As-Builts
• Schedule Data, Capital Projects, and O&M information
• Assets, Inspection Data, and Trouble Tickets

Daily Reporting

For another client, the ODIN Analytics dashboard pulls in and compiles various types of project information that enables project managers and stakeholders to track the progress of a project. The dashboard offers key reporting details and features such as:

• Vibration Monitoring
• Site Equipment Status
• Site Personnel Lists
• Project Progression Images
• Daily Reporting

The dashboard may be enlarged for easier viewing and detailed drill-down.  The project images may be opened individually and enlarged so that parts are easily viewed.

It is a portal to our client’s data that still resides on their servers and behind their firewalls.  Project dashboards are held in a segregated, secured area on the website, protected by a username and password unique to each project.
