Bangor Gas CNG Source Facility

Global Partners, in partnership with Bangor Gas, wanted to supply a firm natural gas supply on a year-round basis via Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to large commercial, industrial, and municipal stranded customers in Maine and the Northeast.

ODIN engineered, designed, permitted, and provided construction supervision for the Global Partners/OSCOMP Systems CNG source facility. The facility included a gas metering system for the Bangor Gas Supply, gas dryers, two OSCOMP quick fill gas compressors, truck fill modules at the two active truck filling bays, and a control building with emergency generator back-up power. The facility was designed to be expanded with two more truck bays, which would include additional compressors and gas dryers.

The facility was successfully commissioned in the fall of 2013. ODIN had concurrently worked with OSCOMP and Global to support design, engineering, and construction supervision services for delivery sites in Maine and the Northeast to help development of the CNG supply system.
