Engineering and Design to Support Solar Compressors

Enbridge, Inc. Algonquin Gas Pipeline desired a consultant to design a turn-key package to complement the installation of two (2) new Solar compressors at their Southeast facility.

ODIN was engaged to provide engineering and design services to support the new compressor installations. ODIN’s solution included a retooling and expansion of the existing station piping, electrical modifications to support the new electric seal gas boost pump motors, and a comprehensive civil package to reinforce the new piping and equipment.

The new Solar Centaur 40 gas turbine compressors feature fully integrated turbomachinery, low life cycle costs, and highly reliable and efficient design. They enable an expansion of station capacity and a modernization of controls over the existing units.

ODIN’s compressor installation support package incorporates a comprehensive design which blends modern design requirements with quality-of-life improvements.
