PSEG - Regulation Facility

Central M&R Regulation Facility Upgrade – On-Site Engineer:

Public Service Gas and Electric (PSE&G) sought to upgrade their existing Central Regulation Facility located in Edison, New Jersey as part of the Energy Strong II initiative. The purpose was to upgrade older equipment and provide a more dependable and safe state of the art facility.

ODIN was selected to provide engineering, design, and construction inspection services for the project. Features include new tie-ins and interconnecting piping from three separate feeds including Transco, Enbridge, and PSEG’s Woodbridge distribution lines, filtration, flow control/blending facilities, pre-heating, and regulation facilities.

The project also included tying in the facilities LP peak shaving supply into the regulation building for distribution and installation of a new control and gas chromatograph building. The project is currently in construction and will be commissioned in 2023.
