Upgrade Over Pressure Protection System

PSEG desired a consultant to design an upgrade to provide additional measures of over pressure protection at their Meadowlands regulation facility.

ODIN was engaged to provide engineering and design services to support this effort. ODIN’s solution included installing a downstream monitor in each of the redundant runs which would engage upon failure of the primary monitor regulator which is the primary means of overpressure protection. ODIN also designed a temporary regulated bypass which included a downstream worker with upstream monitor set up which provided a secondary means of over pressure protection since this station could not be taken out of service.
