Full EPC Provided For Towanda LNG Facility
Dominion Energy’s, Niche LNG (now Berkshire Hathaway Energy), sought to build a merchant LNG facility in Northern Pennsylvania to distribute Marcellus Shale nationally.
ODIN managed and commissioned a full EPC installation for the Towanda LNG Facility.
LNG Facility Capacity
The Towanda LNG facility, located in Wyalusing, Pennsylvania, includes:
- 50,000 gallons per day Chart liquefaction capacity
- Three 60,000 US gallon bullet tanks
- Approximately 180,000 gallons of on-site storage
The Towanda LNG facility officially entered service in January, 2021. In December 2020, prior to becoming officially in-service, the facility supplied LNG to support the bunkering of a marine vessel at the Port of Hamilton in Ontario, Canada. This was a first on the Great Lakes and a major milestone in the evolution of the regional shipping industry.
