ODIN is a benefactor for the American Red Cross through our ODIN Caring program. We are pleased to announce that we are now a Bronze sponsor of the Massachusetts Red Cross Sound the Alarm smoke detector program and a part of the Home Fire Campaign. The American Red Cross Sound the Alarm event helps save lives by installing free smoke alarms in homes that don’t have them, and by educating people about home fire safety.

Home Fires Claim Seven Lives Every Day

Did you know that home fires claim seven lives every day? Having working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death by half. That’s why the American Red Cross is rallying volunteers to install free smoke alarms nationwide, as part of the Sound the Alarm events. This year, alongside other Red Cross volunteers, we’ll help to install free smoke alarms, create escape plans and share fire safety information.
