NGA 2023 Fall Operations Conference – October 19-20th 2023

ODIN proudly co-sponsored this years NGA’s (Northeast Gas Association) Annual Fall Operations conference in Saratoga Springs – truly a beautiful time to be in upstate New York.

ODIN’s Tom Mumford was attending and meeting with both customers and industry friends. Mumford reported back that the opening keynote, a “Fireside Chat” with National Grid’s Katie Backus, shared some insights on the topic “The Future of the Natural Gas Industry.” that kicked-off the two-day event of classes and networking. Later that evening, ODIN was one of the sponsors for the post-class refreshments where a good time seemed to be had by all present.

The highlight of the second day was the strategies and insights shared by Avangrid’s Rob Antonellis, Manager of Threat Management, and Courtney Samp, Manager of Intelligence. It was, to say the least, a very sobering session on the state of physical and cyber threats aimed at energy infrastructures. But they also gave concrete strategies on preparation and awareness. This was followed by the remaining classes and a wrap-up.
