Full EPC Provided For Avangrid/Southern Connecticut Gas

Avangrid/Southern Connecticut Gas’s Milford plant (TPS) sought to replace their boilers and vaporizers requiring Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approval.

ODIN was selected as full EPC for replacement of the boilers and vaporizers and supported Avangrid to obtain FERC approval. The project would increase vaporization capacity to improve delivery capabilities to the pipeline system while a new compressor would move the boil-off natural gas from the tank to the pipeline system.

ODIN EPC was responsible for the full installation and commissioning of the new equipment.

LNG Peak Shaving Capacity

The Milford LNG facility located in Milford, CT safely and efficiently liquefies, stores and vaporizes natural gas for use during periods of peak demand.  The capacity and rates provided are:

• Liquefaction rate 6 MMcf/d
• FERC rated sendout capacity of 105 MMcf/d
• Working gas capacity of 1,140 MMcf
