PGW Passyunk LNG Facility Solar Power Study
Solar Power Feasibility Study
Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) desired a consultant to determine the feasibility of installing a solar panel array at their Passyunk LNG facility as part of modernization of the facility. The new array would utilize unused open space inside the facility and provide electricity to the plant as well as the local power grid for public use.
ODIN was engaged to perform a feasibility study to help determine the optimal placement of solar panels on the site and the resultant power output of those panels. ODIN also conducted a load study of the plant to determine how much of the power could be allocated to the plant and the local grid.
ODIN’s services on this project included a feasibility study, preliminary panel layout(s), preliminary electrical one line, and assisting PGW in the initial steps in the application for the installation with the local power company.
