Capacity and Safety Upgrade for Regulator Station

PPL, Rhode Island Energy (RIE) desired a consultant to design an upgrade to provide additional capacity and safety features at their Laten Knight regulation facility in Cranston, RI.

ODIN provided engineering and design services to support the upgrades to the regulator facility including the addition of strainers to both runs, a new odorant tank and injection point, a new RTU building, new regulators, and new fuel gas line to power the existing boilers and emergency generator. ODIN also provided options to utilize part of the existing building along with a prefabricated building to accommodate the size increase.
